Chelsea Suresh-Mills, M.Ed
Chelsea Suresh-Mills is a dedicated educator with 12 years of experience teaching in Alberta classrooms. She has extensive experience as a classroom generalist in grades K through 4 as well as leadership experience as a literacy specialist and reading interventionist. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Education from Queen’s University with a specialization in Literacy Pedagogy, Assessment and Intervention. Chelsea is passionate about outdoor learning and has completed Field Leader certification from the Outdoor Council of Canada and extensive experiential outdoor leadership training with the Centre for Outdoor Education. Currently, Chelsea teaches kindergarten in a nature-based learning public elementary program in Southern Alberta. In this role, Chelsea is passionate about weaving together her expertise in literacy and outdoor learning to capitalize on the myriad ways the natural environment can promote authentic literacy skill growth and joyful student engagement!
